It seemed like every witness that the state of Wisconsin's assistant DA's call turned into a defense witness.

Obviously, bothers me that somebody that young is carrying a semi-automatic rifle and I just think that obviously, you know, maybe he did it fully of his own volition that he was 17 and he was doing this.

Yes, we unfortunately have gone back to our relative corners and you are in Atlanta. I am in Los Angelinos and here we are.

We survived also in LA so we did we made it through our road trip. I can't wait for listeners. I was posting on Facebook, Jim for our best case worst case listeners about our road trip and I did mention that there might have been video vignettes of a singing in the car together as we drove from L.I. to Montana and people want to see it.

I don't I don't think they understand what is they want to see the key is they use the word see it didn't say here they didn't want to hear it.

They just want to see it.

I wanted us to talk this week, Jim. I know we've had a couple of discussion episodes and we are going to get back to our interviews really soon but there is so much happening in the legal world and there is a trial going on right now in this country that has riveted the nation.

And I really wanted to talk to you about it and let our international listeners we heard from some from Facebook in fact from South Africa who have just recently found best case worst case and others from other nations who don't really get the news from this country and really like to hear about the trial news that is going on here.

So what trial have you been following lately?

Yeah, I've been following really closely the state of Wisconsin versus Kyle written house and in fact I was on the law and crime network which does live trial coverage, you know, eight eight hours a day, five days a week and then has commentary from people like me who've been prosecutors from defense attorneys from other lawyers to comment on these trials and this Kyle written house trial is really interesting because it arose from last summer.

When this country was going through fits of protests demonstrations and then also violent riots in various cities and states across the country after the death of George Floyd and then after the death of a couple of other people in custody generally black men and so the response to those police involved shootings.

In some cases was protest which is lawful and wonderful in this country and then there were also people that took the opportunity to loot and burn and injure and try it.

I mean to write yeah, right.

Exactly.

So that is not lawful on do not lawful any certain sense is one of those really one of the terrible things that happened at one of these riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin last summer in August of 2020.

There was a 17 year old boy that decided to assist some of his buddies in Wisconsin.
