Genesis chapter 7 verse 5

and Noah did all that the Lord had commanded him.

And it says again in verse 16,

and those that entered male and female of all flesh

went in as God commanded him, and the Lord shut him in.

So this picture of Noah,

building the arc, following God's instructions, we see this phrase repeatedly.

Noah did all that the Lord had commanded him.

And as I read that, I'm just struck,

because, again, kind of like Enoch in Genesis chapter 5,

I want this phrase to be true of my life. So don't you want it to be true of my life.

Don't you want it to be true of your life?

I don't want it to be said,

yeah, and he did some of what I commanded him.

David did part of the things I commanded him to do. David did part of the things I commanded him to do.

I know I want God to say of me.

He did all that I commanded him to do.

Everything I told him to do. Everything I told him to do, he did.

Now, obviously, I know I'm not perfect,

and I would not presume that any one of us can be perfect,
