While that may seem like a daunting number, the truth is that you have a lot more control over your hormones and this hormone transition that you have been led to believe. While your body is unique and there is no way to predict how it will react to these hormone changes, there are a lot of levers you can pull to ensure that this transition is as simple as possible for you and your body. Setting Your Body up for Success Many women are allowing their bodies to pay the price for decades of feeling stressed out and doing everything for everyone all the time, which sets us up for a crazy rocky hormone transition. But, the good news is that your hormones are constantly changing and adjusting to the environment you are in, and there is a lot to enjoy in this new stage of self-discovery. But to be candid very quickly, there have been a lot of sweet moments,

literally on the daily with Kingston and our little family of three. But there have been a lot of

hard moments too. I went back to work part time when he was about five five

and a half weeks old and it was very hard. It felt like I was failing on both fronts when it came to work and

motherhood. I just couldn't find my rhythm. Now I'm happy to report that it's getting a little

easier at eight weeks but I'm still stumbling.

What I will say is that Kingston is giving me new meaning to my purpose, and I just love, love, love, with every fiber in my being the purpose that I've been put on this
