We're closing the street and the season down in short order, just like the Gilded Age folks did.

The high season in Newport went from Juneish to the beginning of the opera season in New York City in the fall,

which typically started sometime early to mid-September.

This year, for any of my opera folks, the New York

City opera season begins September 21st, so some traditions remain the same. Within our scope

today in this episode, we are going to Bellcourt, located at 657 Bellevue Avenue, and hooray. We have made it to the last block of

homes on Bellevue, and this one, Belcourt, as well as its owner, and his second wife are unforgettable.
