Summary
Ben Green, author of The Global Superstar, advises, “Square one is to just understand there are great threats and great opportunities posed by global competition. The threat: competing against seven billion people. Boil it down: for good-paying jobs, you're competing against three billion people. You have to be very competitive to get the pick of the litter for job opportunities, especially since the recession of 2008. It’s important to have a clear end in mind, and work backwards to get the education you’ll need.”
