Summary

Barb McQuade hosts #SistersInLaw to examine the recent suspension of Jimmy Kimmel, discuss why it happened, and break down the implications it has for our rights.  Then, the #Sisters analyze what constitutes hate speech under the 1st Amendment and why our laws are the way they are.  They also explain why we have a death penalty, outline what constitutes obstruction of justice, and call out the firing of Maureen Comey while asking whether it was a political move.

I felt like this week could have been called the legend of Jill Wine Banks Week.

0:43.2

Well, every week could be called the legend of Jill Wine Banks Week.

0:47.3

That's true.

0:48.0

Do you see me blushing and...

0:50.3

That's okay. You're the color of your wallpaper, Jill. You are as modest as you are brilliant. But the first reference I saw to her came up this week. You know, our friend Ellie Honig has a book coming out called Investigating the President, which sounds fascinating and I'm looking forward to reading it. But of course, he features features prominently the description of Joe Wine Banks and her work as the Watergate girl on the Watergate investigation, you know, sitting on the floor, piecing together documents after the FBI had put crime scene tape around the offices of the investigators of the special counsel. So I can't wait to read about that.

could she use my name? And I said, of course you can. What is it about? And it was a very private
