Summary
In this episode of the Truth Seekers podcast, we follow two discouraged disciples on the Road to Emmaus after the resurrection of Jesus. Based on Luke 24:13–35, this Bible story for kids explores what happened on Easter Sunday after Mary Magdalene saw the risen Jesus in the garden.
As the disciples walk along the road feeling confused, hopeless, and afraid, Jesus Himself comes near and walks beside them, though they do not recognize Him at first. Along the journey, Jesus explains how the Old Testament Scriptures pointed to the Messiah’s suffering, death, and resurrection all along.
This Christian podcast episode helps children and families understand the resurrection appearances of Jesus, the meaning of the Road to Emmaus story, and how God speaks through His Word. Kids will learn that Jesus is always near, even in moments of doubt, disappointment, or confusion.
Perfect for Christian families, homeschool Bible lessons, Sunday school, children’s ministry, and bedtime Bible stories, this episode encourages listeners to trust God’s plan and recognize Jesus through Scripture.
