Summary

On today’s episode, Sami is joined by Stephanie Ruhle, MSNBC Anchor and NBC News Senior Business Correspondent. Ruhle has championed small businesses throughout the coronavirus pandemic, reporting on flaws in federal economic relief that allow some businesses to exploit the system and leave mom and pop shops suffering. Ruhle explains how the small business loan program fell short and why some criticisms might be misguided. They also discuss how a divided political and media landscape puts Americans in more danger when they do go back to work, and weigh critiquing our leaders with generating productive dialogue. Finally, Sami and Ruhle discuss how lockdown could change gender roles for decades to come. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
