thinking basketball podcast my name is Ben and it's been about three years I think since we've done a solo

podcast episode I'll be honest I don't remember how to do them I have no idea

how I get up here and and spoke by

myself uninterrupted for like 40 minutes 60 minutes did we have hour long

episodes I don't know how to do it. We'll see if we can do it today.

This might be the only solo podcast we ever do again. I'm just used to having Cody here for for banter. I need banter. I mean the man once did an entire segment on

bison gravy, venison, sorry venison gravy and potatoes I mean you can't you can't

replace that when you're by yourself so it's gonna be be it's going to be an adventure today but I don't want to do

someone said we've come a long way for what I just used to sit up here on the podcast and read numbers for half an hour.

And so my goal today is not to read numbers, but also I wanted to reboot the solo podcast

because this very much is a sort of specific dry idea that

won't appeal to everyone or isn't something that we would think about every day

but my goal is to at least make it or isn't something that we would think about every day.

But my goal is to at least make it fun and interesting

and work through it quickly, conceptually,

without like getting bogged down into too many numbers.

And, you know, I still don't know how to do a show

without having fun back and forth with little sidebars and things like that I'm

very spoiled by that so we'll see what kind of tangents maybe I can interrupt myself today.

Actually years ago when I first started this show I had a mic and I was on the floor of my living room.

I lived in a very small apartment at the time and I put the mic on the coffee table and I just
