Monica Gandhi MD MPH is a first professor of medicine and associate chief of the division of HIV infectious diseases and global medicine at UCSF.

She is also the director of the UCSF center of AIDS research C-FAR and the medical director of the HIV clinic ward 86 at the San Francisco General Hospital.

Her research focuses on adherence measurements in HIV treatment and prevention. And she is now conducting research on mitigation strategies for COVID-19, including dissemination strategies for vaccines.

So we had a really great conversation with her tonight. We talked about the new mRNA vaccines as well as the AstraZeneca vaccine. We talked about the trial data that has come out the three phase three trials.
