haven't made it yet, no doubt the excitement is building as you count down to that very first

gelato and stroll along those well-worn ancient Roman streets. Whether it's your first trip or your 50th, I think I'm probably up to that now,

there's always something delightful to discover in Italy.

And some of the favourite first for me in 2024 were visiting a university with some beautiful

frescoes and a magnificent library in Bologna,

rowing the canals of Venice, and tasting the very

rare local wine made on the island of Matsubo. I also loved exploring some of Rome's hidden

treasures like Palazzo Massimo and celebrating some important life milestones with our team

in Umbria and Lake Como. Who knows what the next trip will bring, but I can't wait.

I'm heading over in just a few weeks, and I'm most looking forward to seeing the

Dolomites blanketed in snow and checking out the situation with the Jubilee events.
