Hey everybody Blake with Marvel.

Blake with Marvel.com here and we have a very very special guest on the show today.

It's the one and only CM punk, most importantly known as a

Marvel writer of course. He's also a former W. W. W. Superstar and now he's with

the UFC. This was done over the phone as he is still in training for that fight, which will

happen this Saturday, September 10th at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. It's UFC 203. The main card airs live on pay-per-view at 10

PM Eastern 7 PM Pacific. Again, very brief since he's extremely busy as I'm sure you're

aware. But we talked comics, we talked UFC, and he's a nice guy. So stay tuned.

I guess first let's get in the comics real quick.

What was your experience like doing the Drakes comic?

I mean a ton of fun you know but nerve-wracking you know staring

at deadlines and stuff like that also trying to balance both worlds I wasn't

impossible but my main focus and I think everybody in Marvel knew this was the

fight obviously so I would I mean the last thing I wanted to do is stare at a computer after someday so a lot of times I would just I would I would write most of my stuff on the weekends to try to make it easier

And what would you say like if you had another character you'd like to tackle next, who would it be?

And why?

I mean, I've always said Frank Castle, you know,

but I think when they offered me,

Drax wouldn't have been on my list I probably could have made a list of top 25 characters I wanted to write I don't know if dracks would have been on it

but I looked at that as a challenge and it interested me in that respect.

So, you know, the stuff that Colin and I got to do on that book, I think we were a little bit

under the radar and we got away with stuff that you know
