My mother was adopted and we don't know her natural birth parents, but her natural mother was 14.

And this was back in the mid-1940s, 1946. At that time, obviously the 14-year-old had her

out of wedlock. It was probably put away and back in the 40s, they would place you in an orphanage

and she was not adopted until about three months after that.

She was obviously not nurtured, not cared for, maybe didn't eat her drink when she needed to.
