And then the clap brings it up a sharp spike.

So then you can match up the spikes of sound with the audio on the zoom and the audio on the video

so that you see the spike, you know where to line it off.

If I could give you a little piece of cinematic filmmaking history, now they don't really

need this anymore because of the way they do things with timestamps and everything.

But that is what the slate was. Remember the slate how you drop the slate down? It goes, clack. Clack. Yeah. That clack they would use to sync the sound. They would look at the sound and hear the sound of the clack on the audio and look and match it perfectly with when that thing slammed that makes a ton of sense they're not doing that anymore yeah they may some some people may but i think they use time stamps and all sorts of shit they they have stuff beyond i mean have you seen avatar i have seen they dug up those blue guys from somewhere I don't know why
