Hello and welcome to mini episode 252 of Real Life Goal Stories, and I have three spooky

stories for you today and the last story comes from January 6th, 2023, and story number one comes

from Laura Sa. When I was little in the 1970s, I used to have nightmares several times a month

about Charlie McCarthy type puppets biting me. I don't remember when they started or when they

stopped, but for years they terrified my sleep. There were two large windows in my bedroom, one of which

the light from the corner street light streamed through. So my room was pretty well illuminated.

I only mentioned this because waking up screaming and then lying awake until I could fall

asleep again allowed me to see what my bedroom looked like at night at any given season.

This was proof in my mind that what I once heard and some thing I saw were no dreams.

One night after one of my puppet nightmares I couldn't fall asleep, my younger sister and I shared

a bedroom. She was fast asleep in her twin bed, closes to the door, and I was of course wide awake.

We lived in a big Victorian that my great-grandparents built with wooden floors throughout.

I started to hear coming down the hallway, footsteps. They kept coming and then turned into our bedroom

and then they moved to the head of my sister's bed and then they were almost at the space between

our beds. There was nothing there that I could see but the click of the shoes kept coming.

I yelled, stop, don't come any closer! The clicking stopped, turned around, and clicked all the way

back out the bedroom door. Another night I woke up with a start and sat up. Across the room

between the window and the dresser was this thing that I can only describe as a small-ish,

dark, abominable snowman, maybe six feet tall. It had a small sack slung over its right shoulder.

Before it went through the wall, it turned and looked at me and snarled. I once asked a

psychic what it could have been. She didn't really have an answer as to what type of entity it was,

but she did say there was a portal there and it was just passing through. One of my older sister
