Hello Katie Floyd, how are you today?

I'm well.

And today, this is a show that we've had in the works for a little while now.

We've been wanting to talk about some of our favorite web services and maybe revisit some old favorites and talk about

some new favorites and people seem to like some of these top pick shows that we're doing so we

figured why don't we just highlight the top five that we're using right now and talk about them.

The funny back story is this started out with 10.

It did. But we realized that to give them proper treatment we needed to pair it down so some of them that maybe

it'll be a five more web services one day we'll talk about it.

It's interesting to me that the web is really a platform now.

When we started the Mac Power Users a few years ago,

the web was a place you went to, you know,

look up the phone number for the pizza place.

But the web has really developed into a place where work can get done and things can happen on your behalf, especially people interested in automation and things like that.

And we've got all these services. we've kind of kicked around the idea of

turning some into an exclusive show like if this than that is one of the services

here and you and I had a phone call today where you talked me off the ledge where I

wanted to do a whole hour and a half on if this and that.

Now they're going to send me hate mail because we didn't.

Yeah, but either way, these, we picked five that we think are really worth knowing about an understanding and we think with with just five and about an hour and a half show we can give each one enough treatment to kind of get you started and teach you some things.
