0:31.5	throughout the season is how much hunting pressure makes turkeys act a little bit differently
0:36.6	and you have to adjust your hunting strategy as well. Generally speaking, early in the
0:41.7	season, turkeys are going to be much more responsive to calls, more willing to come
0:45.5	long distances to calls, but as the season progresses, that hunting pressure is going
0:50.1	to affect them and that's a big part of this conversation. It's just how we switch up
0:54.8	our strategy to keep up with what the turkeys are doing. But before we get into the episode,
0:59.6	I wanted to give you guys another turkey hunting tip presented by our friends at Vortex.
1:04.3	And that tip is going to play into what this podcast is ultimately about is trying to
1:09.5	find pressure turkeys that aren't talking very much and in the podcast, we didn't really
1:14.2	talk about it, but one of the things that we do a lot as the season progresses and the
1:19.1	turkeys start to find those safe areas and their gobbling frequency goes down is we sneak
1:24.6	to the woods listening for other sounds like scratching, drumming, hens yelping and any
1:30.2	other turkey sound that may help us get a lead on where a bird is. But something else
1:34.2	that we do that's helped us find a ton of turkeys over the years is just glassing while we're
1:38.9	listening for those sounds as well. You'll notice that we all carry binoculars with us
