Welcome back to the Dungeon Master's Block, the place where we come to talk about the

dungeon master, the most important person in the game. I'm one of your host, DM Mitch,

and I am DM Chris. Mitch, it feels like it's

been forever since we've done our episode together. It's good to be back. I know. It really does.

But yeah, it's good to be chatting with you, Chris, doing an episode together. And I'm really excited

about this episode that we're going to talk about.

We, looking through the backlog, we saw that DM Neal and DM Matt from Detentions and Dragons had did a past episode on TPKs.

And so you can kind of consider this episode to be kind of a part two on that.

What we're going to be talking about today is what happens

when a TPK happens in your game, in your campaign, in your adventure, you're in the middle of

telling a story, or maybe you're like at the very end and it's like, oh gosh, like what do I do now?

All the PCs are dead. Do we just let the story die?

We're going to talk about ways that you continue the story today with having a TPK.

One of the things that we're not going to be doing is we're not going to be like giving you the option of the classic like, well, they all wake up and they're actually not dead.

They were hit with bludgeoning weapons in a dungeon somewhere.
