I love this topic. This is my favorite topic. This is going to be

such a fun episode. Yeah, it feels right for spring. Yeah. Also, I feel like January, we all make our

New Year's resolutions and then at least in Missouri, the next two months are like snow days,

sicknesses. So I feel like, okay, now's the time to really make some goals and something, you know, whatever.

I agree. We're starting to have our first warm days. And it makes me believe that there's hope in the world again.

Same. Yeah. Yeah. I'm really excited about this. So before we begin, we did something fun last weekend. And I thought it would be

fun to share about it. So Emma heard me say that so my children are both flow vision. And they

told me at one point, I've never seen a star. And I was like, what? What? Like, I... Ready me? Yeah.

Never? So I was like, hmm, okay. That's interesting. Like, that's an opportunity. And, like, one of them,

yeah, one of them is really interested in space. So... She's sciencey. Yes. So, um, I told Emma about this this and she set us up an appointment to go to our local observatory, which I had no idea what to expect. I've been wanting to go for years. So the observatory near Springfield, Missouri. So our town isn't big enough to like have like Griffith Observatory like L.A. does or anything like that. But we have Missouri State is located in Springfield, Missouri. And they have an observatory. So it's actually their observatory. It's called Baker's Observatory. It's about 30 minutes outside of Springfield. So it's out in the country. And I had heard about it. I don't even remember where I was at some kind of like local

conference, like local business people and they were doing a talk. Someone was talking about it.

Anyway, and I was like, that sounds really fun, but they only have so many, I think like six or eight

public viewing nights. So you can't just go any time. It's like for the school. It's for the university.

But they do have public nights. So I was like, oh, I should look up when that is. So also,

Elsie's girls are children. So they don't stay up until like 10 p.m. that, you know, they have

bedtimes. So the last one that we could go to before daylight savings, before it gets a lot later, because the sun doesn't set, was the very end of February.

So I was like, this is our shot. We got to go. We've got to go see the stars.

Yeah. And we didn't know if it was indoor, outdoor. We didn't know if it would be cold.

Like, we just kind of like had no idea, but we were like, oh, let's just sign up and do it. I was scared no one would be there but us.

I was like, her kids probably won't notice that it'll be fine.
