On Sunday, June 5th, 1983, Bill Hughes drove the short distance from his home to the home

of Peggy and Doug Ryan.

Bill's son, 11 year old Chris had a sleep over that night with the Ryan son, Josh.

There was no answer at the front door, and the Ryan's car was missing.

When he peeked in through a sliding glass door in the back of the home, Bill thought that

he was seeing some sort of prank, but unfortunately it wasn't.

Inside the home, there were bodies of Doug, Peggy, and Jessica Ryan, and Bill's son, Chris.
