But the hits keep on coming. And on today's show, we're going to do part two of our perfectionism series that we started last week.

And if you haven't heard that episode, I really try to come at this idea of perfectionism with a new

definition. Definition, maybe you don't associate with that word perfectionism. It's,

you know, a lot of times perfectionism, we think of the guy who has, you know, is super neat

and detail-orientated and has to have everything perfect, et cetera, et cetera.

And that's not really what I'm talking about.

What I'm talking about in perfectionism is this obsession with creating an acceptable

image.

We're trying to create this acceptable image in our life and be seen a certain way.

And the problem is when the truth, what's going on in the

inside doesn't match that acceptable image, that's where we get in a lot of trouble. And what we end up

doing is we start hiding anything in our life that doesn't fit that image, anything we deem

unacceptable. And this can be obviously addiction and, you know, some of our compulsions and things like that.

Of course, we can hide that.
