Today I am happy to bring you part two of our four-part series on

budgeting with a very variable income. Here we go. I've got Todd Curtis with me, chief customer officer. This is part two of a four-part series,

all about how to budget with a variable income, which is really, if you're being tricky, it's really just had a budget.

But as you mentioned last week Todd there are a few things that on a variable income

become perhaps a little more important and some things we should

focus on. So welcome I guess I should say. It's good to be back. Let's dive right

in on the part where we said okay last week your budget has to be very flexible

and you need to make sure that you are not pretending that your income is fixed by just saying,

oh, I forecast X as my amount to work with.

So we teach people every day only budget money you have on hand.

And then we've removed the variability, right?

So why is this not just absolutely demoralizing to people?

I mean, it's not, it really does work,

and it seems like a really simple solution

and common sense, which I guess makes it a good

solution based on the book we're reading right now right common when it seems common

sense you've landed on something good right so what is the I guess if we firmly just say only deal with money you have on hand what are the wins?
