Summary

Mike Parry and Lesley-Ann Jones reconvene for another in depth look at the week's news as Life on Planet Porky returns.

Topics today include: Sunshine in May, dressing inappropriately for the weather, misogyny in the House of Commons, hypothetical bars in newspaper offices, exchanging messages with a prisoner, Boris Becker, how overpriced hairdressing is, auburn hair, Angel Rayner, Paul and John reuniting, Angela Levin's new book about Camilla, Sheena Easton, Sandy Shaw's number one hits, Everton's relegation battle, Harry and Meghan's fractious relationship, life after Bond, Portugal, and a couple of cracking cases of story-chasing from the Fleet Street days. It's the podcast that spends time in bars, not behind them - it's Life on Planet Porky.

Yeah, Miss Jones.

1:18.9

Oh, Miss Jones. So maybe that's it. I don't know. So I always feel with bank holidays. I hope it's

good weather. I don't like blazing sunshine, but I do feel that

those who rely on their living for it, and I'm talking about people at the seaside or people who, you know,

1:33.9

run outdoor activities, they rely on maybe, I don't know, half a dozen weekends a year to make all

their money, if you see it or mean, and a bank holiday one is one of them. I just hope it goes well for them. Yeah, indeed. The weather's been really inclement, hasn't it, lately? For the

last week, I've been putting a coat on and I've been going out, and it's unusual for this time

2:02.1

Yes.
