you to my blog. As you might have noticed, early retirement and financial independence are primary themes of

this podcast. And one of the motivations for me, one of the reasons I bring it front and center

is that too often, in many of our lives, money and work get in the way of doing what matters.

It's not that they're the most important thing, but they do get in the way of a lot of the It's not that they're the most important thing,

but they do get in the way of a lot of the things we want to do in our life,

the people we want to spend our time with,

activities we want to do, the schedules we want to keep.

And so early retirement is sort of a code word for reprioritizing

and moving past money as the number one thing. So for me, at least,

it's not about not working. It's not about not engaging with life. It's about reprioritizing

and having money be a tool as opposed to being something that holds you hostage, basically,

to doing work schedules or jobs that you don't want to do.

So what, you know, what you do with your life after that, it was very personal to you.
