It has been almost six generations now of men since the last episode.

We have this gap in the history, and I guess you could call it a gap.

There are things that happen during this time, but the Silmarillion doesn't really go into

much detail about it.

There's relative peace.

The men have come into the west of the continent.

For almost six generations now, we're told the sixth generation of men since they're coming

is almost at adulthood at this point.

They have been integrating with the culture of Balearion, the elves.

The different elves, the Noldor to the north, mostly. And although Thingle, King Thingle and Doriath

doesn't let them into his forest. He's aware of them.

They live on the outskirts of the forest in different locations.

But for the most part, they have peacefully integrated into the landscape here.
