Welcome to episode 25 of the James Smith Podcast. This week, just having a chat

really about finishing the call in the audiobook. Now believe me when I say this,

there's not been a week for nearly a year where I've quite been so sick of

hearing my own voice through a headset. When recording a podcast and an

audiobook you get feedback and in case you've ever wondered why Joe Rogan or

whoever when they do podcasts, where headphones it so you can hear your voice

and the other person so you can hear if they're tracking away from the microphone

talking into it or whatever it is. So this week I've spent literally hours

starting a room on my own really out my book and I made a funny joke of

earlier I went into Ferris' room. I said you boys you know you've had to work

this week but me I had to do real work I had to read my own book to my

self. I thought I'd make a podcast about it and just talk you through some of

the kind of I don't know just to share some of the experience really. I'm not

doing this one on YouTube I'll be honest with you I'm chilling in my bed. I'm

not in it I'm on it. There's a there's a difference as well. You know people

like what you doing in bed it's midday you know I'm not in bed I'm on bed.

There's a difference right so calm yourselves. Gonna be talking through a

little bit about the audiobook kind of process. Some interesting bits and I've

actually just put a Q&A on my story for anyone that wants to have any questions

asked. We could go off in the tangent but we see but yes it took me four days to

record the audiobook and not a live coach which was it is actually quite hard

work because you have to get every sentence perfect and once you're reading out
