What's going on everybody. I'm back. Welcome to Trail Tales. My name is Kyle O'Grady,

and this is the podcast for I, a through hiker, peak

bagger, and all around just hiking enthusiast, big old hiking nerd, chat with other hiking

nerds just like myself about their experiences on the trail. Now, this week's guest is a woman

by the name of Sarah Williams. Shes she's a total badass she hiked

the appellation trail in 2017 and she's also done a bunch of other cool stuff like bike rides and

marathons and a ton of cool adventures and she also has her own podcast called the tough girl

podcast and her own site her own blog and youtube channel called

tough girl challenges i had so much fun with this one we talk about a bunch of cool stuff we do talk

quite a bit about what it's like to run a podcast and kind of be a content creator it does stray

a little bit from the usual theme of like through hiking and all that

stuff. But I think it's a, I think it's really good stuff and I really enjoyed it. And of course,

we still do talk about her Appalachian Trail hike quite a bit as well, particularly about what

it's like to hike the AT as somebody who is not from the United States and some of the logistics

that you have to deal with to come here and do a through, you know, things like insurance, visas and all that stuff.

So that was really great as well.

Sarah is just so professional and hardworking, I guess, when it comes to all this stuff.

So I really learned a lot from her, honestly.

We chatted a little bit after we were done the recording

and she kind of gave me some advice and some pointers for trail tales as well so that was really
