| 0:00.0 | Happy New Year's, everyone. We are back in the studio. We made it back. |
| 0:04.0 | And we decided it would be really, really fun, wrapping up the year, looking back at some extinct Disney World attractions and see how many we've actually been to and which ones we would love to have back. |
| 0:14.0 | Hello and welcome to a dick to the mouse. Today is Wednesday, December 31st, you'll listen to episode number 759, and these are 25 extinct Disney World |
| 0:23.6 | attractions. Hey everybody, Dan and Leslie here. Thanks for joining us today. So I'm going to throw |
| 0:43.2 | something at you. Oh, I mean, we're 40 seconds in. This is getting serious fast. Okay, let's go. |
| 0:48.8 | So happy New Year to everybody. I put in on my little blurb in the newsletter. I talked about how I'm not |
| 0:56.2 | big on New Year's resolutions, but I love this time of year because I feel like it's like we're |
| 1:02.0 | heading into a new year like with a clean slate and we can, you know, evaluate our goals and our |
| 1:08.1 | dreams and our aspirations and all of that. It just, it feels like very |
| 1:12.4 | refreshing and and uplifting to me. But I wanted to ask you, put you on the spot a little bit, |
| 1:17.9 | do you, like, how do you feel about New Year's resolutions? Do you have one? Or what are you |
| 1:22.5 | looking for for like this coming year? I don't like, I'm kind of with you. Like I don't wait till New Year's to make any like big resolutions that I'm probably going to drop two weeks later. I, I kind of constantly evaluate like where we're at with the business, where we're at in our lives. And if we need to make changes, we'll just do that throughout the year. So, um, but I do think that, you know, it's kind of nice to set new goals at, at, at milestones, right? So whether that's the first of the month, the first of the week, the first of the year, whatever that is, like that makes sense to me. Um, but no, I don't like, I don't, I don't wait till the first of the year to make a big resolution. So if you're asking me |
| 2:02.5 | if I have any, no, because we just kind of like change and adapt as we go. All right. So any big, |
| 2:09.3 | big desires of accomplishments for this year? Well, that would be resolution. No. I guess that's |
| 2:15.0 | true. I mean, yeah, we've got our goals that we've set for 2026, but we've set those kind of months ago and we just kind of, we'll evaluate and adapt as we go through the year. All right. Do you? I mean, there's like little many things, but it's terrible. And this is why I don't make resolutions anymore because I think I had similar ones last year. I did read more |
| 2:35.0 | this year. So I was I was excited about that. I would like to continue doing that. And then I, |
| 2:40.7 | there's certain parts of our house. The biggest one being the game room like the hall closet upstairs |
| 2:47.9 | that I really would like to tackle. And it's been, it's like the, |
| 2:51.1 | it's like the friend's hall closet. Yeah, it's, it's been a process for, um, it's been in progress, |
| 2:57.3 | I would say since the summer, which, um, yeah, I understand it's December 31st. Um, and so the |
| 3:02.8 | guest bedroom looks like a disaster, which my niece is coming on Monday. So now I got to just shove everything |
| 3:08.3 | back in the closet so that I can. So here's the thing with central Florida homes. There are no |
