Jeep is preparing for the launch of their first one,

if not two electric vehicles in the United States.

Now, production will begin in Q2 and delivery is beginning

in Q3 of the Wagonier S. That sits on the Stalantis, STLA, large platform. First, we've heard

of that, or seen of it in real vehicle form. This looks like a beast, the Wagoner S, 600 horsepower,

naught to 60, three and a half seconds. And the mileage, well, it's got to do at least 400 miles

there or thereabouts to beat off the likes of the Rivian R1S. Also, the recon model is coming as a

rugged electric version of coming from Jeep.

Sometime before the end of the year, we'll see more of that.

Platform stays the same, and it can accommodate up to 120 kilowatt hours of batteries.

There could be some decent mileage EVs.

Now, a US trade group is warning against Chinese EVs coming in via Mexico.

The US Trade Group is warning this weekend, the Biden administration, to close any loopholes or

gaps to do with benefits of making vehicles in North America. They worried that Chinese firms

could have facilities in Mexico,

the likes of BYD, the world's number one EV maker, since it took that crown from Tesla

with their Mexican factory. They're worried that these vehicles could come into the US via Mexico,
