And I'm Tracy. Hello, y'all. Thanks for tuning into the podcast.

So we want to start off the show by saying thank you to a few people.

First, thank you to Tom M., who just this past week was the 100th person to like the podcast

on Facebook. Rich and I thought that was exciting. And we enjoy hearing from everyone who

uses Facebook to send us a message or to comment on the different posts we put up there.

And just to let all of you in on a secret, neither Tracy nor I had ever been on Facebook

before we decided to start a history podcast. I guess up until then we were a bit behind

the social media trend. But we're making up for it now. So as we mentioned from time to

time, if you go to the podcast website, you can find links to the show's Facebook page

and Twitter feed.

And our second thank you goes up to Bob and Mark for their generous donations to the podcast

this past week. Yeah, thanks, guys. The podcast will always be free, of course. But we decided

to put up a donate button on the website in case anyone wanted to help us out with stuff

like the monthly cost of the server where we keep all the episodes so you can download

them. And also with what we call our book fund, since we're always on the lookout

for books and different resources that will help us out with our research for the show.

But anyway, and then our third thank you is a big one. It's for everyone who left us

all those great five star ratings and reviews on iTunes this past week. Y'all surpassed

the goal we set. So as promised, tomorrow we'll be releasing the special bonus episode.

Yeah, it was kind of funny, but we didn't check the US or UK iTunes sites for a day or

two because we were kind of afraid no one would take us up on the deal we offered you guys.
