The Welcome to the deer hunter podcast, a platform created to entertain, educate, and evolve the modern day deer hunter. Hey, I just wanted to jump on here real quick and plug in a small disclaimer about one of the topics on our conversation here in this podcast.

As we know, it's a little bit of a hot button issue. There is some talk in this episode about shooting deer in the head, which we

know is people have strong opinions about on both sides and we just

thought it was necessary to bring it to the attention that you know we're going to

keep this an honest platform we said that from day one and this is just honest guys

sitting around talking about deer hunting. I know a lot of

people are not in favor about shooting game in the head. Myself personally, I never have and never

would. I do not consider myself that good of a marksman. That being said, I know multiple people that year in, year out, that is their target.

And so anybody that wants to comment on this or has an opinion is welcome to go to our Facebook page when this episode is posted and you know start a

conversation or express any views or concerns they have on this topic and we you know I just

didn't want this to come off the wrong way we were you know laughing it up and having a good

time sitting around in the garage having some

beers and we felt that it could have potentially came off um you know disrespectful to the game that

we pursue and to people that have the strong opinion in the side of to not take headshots. But then again,

like I said, there's people on the other side of that argument. So just thought it was necessary

to plug in a small disclaimer here. Everybody have a great weekend. Now that it's hunting season,

I hope everybody's got the opportunity to

get out in the woods I've just been out for my first time and realized that I have some adjustments

to make to my gear set up and some work to do but it's hunting season and we're going full bore now so we'll have two episodes up a week

hopefully every week from here on out through the deer hunting season and enjoy the show
