0:30.1	We begin this morning with the U.S. border wars.
0:33.9	The Wall Street Journal and Political Report that another illegal alien that Trump's team was not supposed to deport to El Salvador.
0:40.7	They did.
0:41.4	Well, a judge just ruled he has to be brought back.
0:43.8	Here's what we know.
0:45.2	A man that is identified only by the name of Christian came to the United States illegally from Venezuela back in 2022.
0:52.0	He was age 17 at the time.
0:54.0	And that's really important in this case.
0:55.9	That young man benefited from a Biden-era settlement with some migrant activists and lawyers.
1:00.4	The settlement decided that all illegal alien minors, like Christian, could stay in the U.S.
1:05.4	as their asylum applications were being considered. Well, as those migrant activists and lawyers
1:10.3	knew very well, that could take
1:12.0	a long, long time. That's because there are at least 3.7 million backlogged cases in U.S.
1:18.1	immigration courts right now. Those are overseen by about 700 judges that hear about 500 cases
1:23.9	per year. So doing the math, that means that asylum seekers of all kinds get to stay
1:29.1	in this country for years, if not a decade plus, even though data actually show that 70 to 80
1:34.3	percent of those claims are eventually denied. In any case, Christian was not supposed to be deported
1:40.2	because he was protected by that Biden-era deal as a minor at the time.
1:44.9	But he decided to use cocaine last December, I believe it was, in the state of Texas.
