0:06.8	In this episode Aaron Hayden and I are going to be talking about different turkey calls,
0:11.3	what they mean, and when to use them in different situations.
0:14.9	I'd say one of the most common questions that we get about hunting strategy is calling
0:19.9	techniques and I think that there's so many fine details that we're never going to be
0:24.8	able to cover all of them in just one simple answer.
0:28.7	In this podcast we try to talk about a variety of different situations and while I'm sure
0:33.6	that can be helpful I think experience is super important in getting better at calling.
0:38.5	Something that also helped me is not using decoys.
0:42.2	Once I stopped using decoys it became much better caller, I got a lot better at understanding
0:47.4	what makes bird commit and what doesn't and by no means am I telling you how to hunt
0:51.6	turkeys I really could care less if you choose to use decoys or not but if you want to
0:56.0	get better at calling having no decoys involved definitely teaches you a lot really quick
1:01.2	about how to call turkeys and since we've started hunting turkeys in that way it's helped
1:05.8	us become better callers for things like deer and elk as well.
