What happens is you get cemented into what you feel is this big oak tree and when someone challenges all these biases and perspectives that we hold

It feels kind of shitty in the start because it's like hey I thought I was this tree with all these leaves and these branches

and I burned off all the dead wood and now I'm this fucking stick in the desert.

I'm like this little skinny Charlie Brown tree.

And that kind of hurts. But the beauty of that is you can grow and

foster into what you see fit with the people that you have in your circle and that are
