Summary
Let’s take this month of March and really go through what it’s like to renew and transform our minds. The mind is where everything starts, and it's where our battles are won or lost.
Trying to change our behavior or actions without addressing the root cause, which is often our thoughts and beliefs, can be frustrating and exhausting. However, with intentional effort and the help of the Holy Spirit, we can transform our minds and experience lasting change.
Each of us are facing unique battles in our lives but we all face a common battle and that is in our minds! Renewing our minds means intentionally choosing to focus on thoughts that align with God's truth and rejecting thoughts that lead us away from it. It involves replacing negative self-talk, doubt, and fear with positive affirmations, hope, and faith.Remember that transforming our minds is a process, and it won't happen overnight. It takes time, effort, and consistency, but the results are worth it.
Hope you join us all this month to dive into this topic and get practical steps. Have a great week and thanks so much for tuning in today! Make sure to share this podcast with your friends and stay tuned for the rest of the purpose challenge!

| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the Home with Havala podcast. I'm your host Havala and this month we're talking |
| 0:10.2 | all about mindsets. March is about mindsets. We're going to take every week and pull apart |
| 0:17.4 | what it looks like to take inventory of our thoughts, how to know if it's a good thought |
| 0:23.4 | or a God thought, and then also practically renewing our mind. What does that look like? |
| 0:29.0 | Because it's not just a good idea, it's not something that we just pray for. We have |
| 0:33.2 | to actually do it. So we're going to talk all about that. I don't know about you, but |
| 0:37.9 | you know, I'm no longer in a season that requires me to fight and to, you know, kind of gear |
| 0:45.4 | up for something terrible because I think we've all had, you know, a couple years of some |
| 0:49.7 | craziness. And I think our minds have been prepared for the next crazy. But now I'm realizing |
| 0:56.4 | that it's really not what I'm facing on my everyday. That's a hard time mentally. It's |
| 1:01.4 | my muscle memory. It's my memory of the things that I needed to keep my mindset on. And |
| 1:08.0 | now I don't need to be fearful of that or aware of that or on guard. And so I need to |
| 1:14.0 | start taking these thoughts that I've gotten really used to that have served me for many |
| 1:18.6 | years and beginning to unpack them so I can begin to think the thoughts that God wants |
| 1:24.2 | me to think and begin to get rid of the limiting thoughts that are no longer serving |
| 1:29.0 | me. So I've taken a long teaching that I did on YouTube and I parcel it off every week |
| 1:35.0 | in the month of March. So you're listening to segment one. But as we get going, you can |
| 1:40.9 | actually go back and listen to the whole series. You guys, I'm not going to, I'm not going |
| 1:44.9 | to keep us any longer. Go get your earbuds, put on your walk and shoes, grab that cup |
| 1:48.9 | of coffee. We are going to connect for the next couple of minutes as we talk about our |
| 1:53.2 | first session of March mindsets. See you on the other side. |
| 2:00.2 | And today I want to talk about renewing the mind. I want to talk about how to stop toxic |
