Put on your investor hat instead of your homeowner hat. I think that is one of the biggest ones

that a lot of our clients struggle with is like, but the neighborhood, you know, there's no, there's no, the whole food's there. And, you know, the back splash is a little wonky. And I'm not, I'm not a fan of the weird backyard. I'm like, you're, you're never going to see this house ever. you know this is a business you're buying this is an investment people in this neighborhood

love this house this is exactly what the market calls for. And, you know, the people that

bought this house know that. And that's why they're in the market and we're over here.

So this is a conversation with Lisa Tilstra and Tim Robinson.

They're part of real estate investing concierge.

And I picked their brain and talk to them about how they invest from long distance, as the title implies.

They both have jobs and their

family have jobs that take them overseas. They're American citizens, but they invest in bread and butter

properties here in the United States, in Kansas City, Missouri, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Washington, D.C.

Metro area and all over the country. And I kind of go through the basics, the foundational steps that if you also want to invest long distance, or if you're to somebody locally like me, I invest locally, but I want to travel more and I want to be not so attached to my properties, what are some of the principles that help you build a good team, help you analyze properties, help you analyze markets and all the other details of financing and things that you're going to have to do as a real estate investor, but you don't necessarily have to be there in person. That's what we talk about in today's conversation. I think you'll really enjoy both their stories and also the education that they provide. Now, before we get to the interview, it's time for this week's behind the scenes segment where I share a short snippet of what's going on with me and my real estate investing, finances, or business behind the scenes. This week, I want to take, again, like I normally do, a theme from our conversation that you're going to hear today, and one of the themes is that you have to have conversations with people in order to build trust.
