When Australians vote no, they are voting to maintain equality in our country.

0:14.8

They are voting no to the continued aggressiveness of leftist ideology that has slowly eroded

0:22.6

their wonderful shared Australian values and culture, and I am privileged to be in a position

0:30.1

where I hope to be able to rebuild our nation, to feel proud of who we are as Australians

0:35.4

again, so that our children can stand proud to call themselves Australian.

Hello, welcome back to the Brendan O'Neill Show with me, Brendan O'Neill and my special

0:46.6

guest this week, Jacinta Nampian Per Price. Jacinta, welcome to the show.

voice I would say over the past few weeks, in saying no to the voice to Parliament, and this

1:32.2

is a voice that would allow Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders people to make representations

1:39.3

to government. So there's a lot for us to unpick and talk about, but I just want to ask a practical

1:46.5

question to begin with. What exactly are Australians being asked to vote about on the 14th of October?

1:53.0

What is the question? What is the voice that they've been asked to say yes or no to?

1:57.5

Well, I think, Brendan, that's half the problem with this proposal is that we're being asked to

2:03.9

make an amendment to our constitution, and the question is based around recognition of Indigenous

2:10.6

Australians, and they're suggesting it is through a body which will be known as the voice.
