Let's define or redefine the purpose of side hustle school, and we've had people listening

for years.

We also have people kind of stumbling in or discovering the podcast from time to time.

And sometimes I get listener questions that make me think, we just need to kind of relook

at what the point is, you know, not the point of life in general, but the point of

side hustle school.

And it really is in a single sentence to help people make extra money without quitting

their job.

And if we want to go a little bit deeper, it's to help them create something, some kind

of project that can earn real money, you know, something that truly creates economic

empowerment, as I like to say.

A product or service that can really change their life in a meaningful way, whether that

is to allow them to quit their job or to get out of debt or just to give them more options.

So when I say side hustle, I'm thinking of a money-making project, right?

There are lots of hobbies you can have in life, lots of things you can do that don't have

anything to do with money, and that's great.

But if you're going to have a side hustle, then it needs to be profitable.

And I'm reminded of that sometimes when I get questions from people on tour or at events

or by email or for the podcast, and sometimes I think, well, maybe this is just a fun project,

you know, and you should do that if you want to do that, but don't necessarily think

of it as your big money-making venture.
