As y'all recall, when we wrap things up at the end of the last episode, we had just finished

And so we'll start this show at the beginning of July.

On July 1st, the Battle of Malvern Hill is the last clash of the seven days campaign.

At Malvern Hill, Robert E. Lee makes his final attempt to deal a lethal blow to the army

of the Potomac.

But the Union position is a strong one, and the Confederate attacks are neither well-planned

And the rebel troops advancing across open fields take heavy casualties from the unrelenting
