guys welcome back to the monocrossman and today we have Jason Hibbs on the podcast aka bourbon moth

full disclosure I had never known his first name because I've always known him as bourbon moth

and never dug into it but I found this dude

I guess it was at the beginning of covid which we find out in this

and this dude turns a lawn mower into his tank

and post this video on youtube and then I go in this deep dive on what he's got going on

and basically you know his passion for woodworking how he turned you know a career

well a career later in life but a career of fine woodworking and fine furniture building direct client

and how he's kind of shaped that around a life you know that is centered around family

and spending time with his family by utilizing things like youtube

and sharing what he's creating on a daily basis with more than just that end user

yeah it was interesting because I did some background investigation on him

and I found out a fair amount of info but I hadn't connected the dots with him being the tank guy

until that and also that what's his name Kevin no not Kevin

I can only think of his Instagram but our previous guest that had been on

that knew him and spoke to us Keith about him during the podcast

and he was telling us about Jason and I didn't make that correlation or connect the dots

so like we're in the middle of talking to him and I recalled having this conversation about him

with Kevin during his podcast probably a year or two ago

so it was a good conversation I like what he's doing I like where his priorities are

we had a nice conversation about the adoption of his son and kind of what that looks like

because I don't know I was just interested about it
