I sat down with Meredith Angwin, author of Shorting the Grid, a book about the fragility

of our grid systems throughout the country.

People's misunderstandings around how grids work, how electricity is delivered, the sources

of that electricity, the mix that we should be using, the mix we are using.

And just bad policy around this.

I think this episode is very, very important to cross-pollinate with TFTC

because it just adds to another data point and proves that there's a lot of

misconceptions in the world, a bunch of people taking things of face value, taking what the

media tells them and running with it.

Considering what happened in New York State last week, late last week,

with the decommissioning of their nuclear power plant on the Hudson

due to some very, very, just completely misguided reasons.

Just call them what they are, misguided reasons.

Being pushed by a bunch of anti-human individuals

who just want to make your electricity prices

more expensive and make your electricity delivery less reliable.

The world has gone mad.
