Today, we're talking about Dalya's with expert grower and breeder, Christine Albrecht.

She's a multi-award winning breeder, an author of a great book on Dalya breeding for the

farmer florist and the home Gardner.

You know doubt know that Dalya's are one of the most beautiful flowers on the planet,

with literally billions of varieties out there around the world.

Why is that?

Well, that's one of the things that we'll be talking about in the geeky part of this

conversation.

But first, I want to bring us all up to speed on the basics of Dalya's and how to grow them.

That alone is fascinating, I think, but then we'll get into that part of how to propagate

and breed them to create new varieties, which is a big part of how Christine spends her

time and has been for well over a decade.
