All right.

I'm going to try not to sniffle or hack and cack and just be making gross noises throughout this whole podcast,

because we got the influenza A in this household.

It has not hit me. My cousin, basically, she took like two days off this week.

Well, she was going to take two days off because she had a holiday because they were observing

President's Day for some reason at her work. So she took Tuesday off and Wednesday's already

already off. So she was like, cool, I'm going to have time off. Got sick, like immediately.

And was like, all right. And was like, all right. And then had to take the rest of the week out off

because she's like absolutely like, like she took three COVID tests. I was like, what is? It was like, you look bad. Like, I'm like, I know that's like not useful at all, but you like, you look sick, dude. And, uh, yeah, so she finally, like,

went in, because we're like, is this RSV? What is this? Like, we've had three negative

COVID tests. What's going on? And it's like, you know, the at-home ones aren't always reliable, what's happening?

And then, nope, influenza.

Had to cancel all my plans because then I got sick.

Get your flu shots, everybody.

It's not foolproof, but hopefully it helps.

Well, the doctor was really cool. He was saying,

he's like, yeah, if you hadn't gotten your flu shot, you basically would have been, this would have

been like for three weeks instead of the one week. Yikes. Yeah, get your flu shots. And I probably

would have been a lot worse off. Yeah. Because, you know, keep different immune systems.
