Chadd shares how the lessons he has learned as a SEAL and Ultrarunner can help YOU as a backcountry hunter... "True adventure is when you embark on a journey where the most likely outcome is failure. Chad is a former Navy SEAL hunter himself, ultra runner, and we just wanted to talk with Chad about a bunch of different aspects of adventure, mindset, challenge, adversity, and there's so much good stuff in here.

So as much as we can talk like tips and tactics and, you know, say, oak calling strategies or glassing strategies for me, or something like that,

0:45.0

we love to get into mindset on this podcast because it plays a huge role in hunting. You get out there in the backcountry.

Things don't go your way. You're dealing with the elements, you're dealing with animals that don't cooperate. You get multiple days into a long hunt, and it's easy to start getting down.

Large Steve, thank you so much for having me brother. Yeah, yeah, I've been fortunate enough to be on a few podcasts. And this is one that I have been really, really fired up and excited about.

2:24.0

Oh, it's cool man. It's too kind. It's a we connected because of your podcast, which I somehow stumbled upon. And I don't even listen to too many podcasts these days, but I found your show and listen to one or two and then kind of got hooked and caught up on a bunch of them.

2:38.0
