you it's a bit ranty.

We're not in Kansas anymore, as Dorothy pointed out. We might as well be in Oz, for we certainly see all around us cowardly lions, wicked witches and little men hiding behind curtains

and pretending to be great and powerful. And do not get me started on flying monkeys and creepy

munchkins. We're told again and again that the baddies give away the truth, have to give away the truth of whatever it is

they're doing so that we can never accuse them of not being honest.

You know, so that in the future they're always able to turn around and say, well, we told you

what we were doing.

If you didn't do anything about it, you've only got yourselves to blame.

The original story of the Wizard of Oz was written in 1900.

Since then, many have speculated that the author, Frank Baum, had more to say than a straightforward children's fantasy story.

Oz is the measure of precious metal, i.e. ounces, Oz.
