Sally Kempton is a deeply practiced teacher of meditation and spiritual philosophy, and the author of the books Meditation for the Love of It and Awakening Shakti: as well as the audio course Doorways to the Infinite, recently put out by Sounds True. A former swami in the Saraswati order of India, she has been practicing and teaching devotional contemplative tantra for more than 40 years. Her teaching is powerfully sourced in the eastern meditative traditions of yoga and Kashmir Shaivism, yet highly contemporary in her focus on evolutionary practice. you know a little bit about yourself? Hi Rick hi Rick hi totally nice to be with you yes so I'm a teacher of meditation

spiritual wisdom what I call contemplative tantra and from a Hindu tradition I've been practicing

and teaching for about 40 years.

I was a long-time student of Swami Muktenanda, whom Rick and I were just talking about,

and was a Swami, a monk, for a number of years until the early 2000s.

And I've been teaching and writing, so to to speak as a lay person since about 2003.

And I've written a couple of books which hopefully we'll talk about called the meditation

for the love of it and awakening Shakti. And hopefully we're going to also talk about my new

to the Infinite, which is a series of Tantric meditation practices from an amazing Sanskrit
