The reason it's important is it helps us to get the book out into the world really quickly because it means

it shows up in like Amazon lists and it gets featured and people start sharing it. And it helps you

to make quite a lot of quick progress with the book, which is really important given how many

books are published and also how many

books come out in January. So if you are thinking about buying it, if you think it would be

helpful, we would massively appreciate you pre-ordering it from wherever you get your books.

And I think through most places when you pre-order, you don't actually pay until the book arrives.

That's true. And I think that's part of the problem, isn't it, with pre-ordering?

I know that I was even talking to someone last week who had listened to the podcast every week for three years.

And she was like, oh, no, I'm definitely going to buy it, but I'll just buy it so I can get it the next day because we get so used to that instant gratification, I was like, oh, it really helps us, though, if you could pre-order, but don't worry, you don't have to pay. And then you'll still get it super quickly.
