| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the happiness podcast. I'm Dr. Rubber Puff. |
| 0:18.0 | When we're born into this world, there's a lot of things that we don't know how to do. So we spend the first 15 to 20 years learning from our peers, from our family, from our teachers how to live life, and hopefully |
| 0:27.7 | with time how to live life well. |
| 0:31.0 | So in many ways, life is like a schoolroom. We come here to learn. And after we've learned |
| 0:37.4 | certain lessons, like say how to get our first job, then we get new lessons presented to us, perhaps how to be in relationship. |
| 0:45.0 | Then how to raise children, how to save for retirement, how to retire well, |

| 1:30.4 | So let's talk about the best way to learn through life and how to live our lives well. |
| 1:35.0 | Well, as I said, it really boils down to three choices, three options we have to learn from life. |
| 1:42.0 | The first one is not to learn from life. The first one is not to learn. We do something, it doesn't go |
| 1:46.2 | well, and we don't learn from it. Then we do it again and we don't learn from it. We do |
| 1:51.5 | it again. It turns out poorly. We don't learn from it. We do it again. It turns out poorly. We don't learn from it. We all |
| 1:55.2 | know examples of this in our own lives and in others. It is not to judge ourselves, it's |
| 2:01.1 | just to realize we can often be quite stubborn, or for whatever reasons |
