Hope for the best while preparing for the worst. That's the line, isn't it? That's what we say.

That's what we tell ourselves and each other.

Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst. Great change is coming, I think. If not already

upon us. And more and more of us are aware.

You can feel it.

You know, it's like a frequency or it's like a scent in the wind or it's like, you know, you just know it's there.

The old order changeth, said Tennyson, yielding place to new, lest one good custom should corrupt

the world. Maybe we need change. Maybe it's inevitable. But by now too many people evidently feel

it, feel the same, and their collective voices can't any longer be ignored.

There's too many people saying there's something wrong, something's happening and it's big.

Really, I think to continue to not acknowledge that imminent change is achieved only by dumb, stubborn, willful blindness.

That's my take.

Everyone tracks the realization of the advent of change from a different moment.

For me, really, since 2019, 2020, it's been harder and harder every day to overlook how one way of being and doing is coming to an end.

Generations, the longest time we've been doing things and understanding a certain version of reality.

And it's coming to an end,

while the structure of the future

takes shape more and more obviously.
