Hello Heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot.

I'm James Damato, your host and GameMaster.

This week we're playing Flying Circus, which is a game I recorded live from Breakout Con.

One of my highlights for that show was playing Flying Circus.

For those that don't know, Flying Circus is a powered by the apocalypse inspired role-playing system

about planes. Picture World War I era propeller-powered flying machines

being the driving force of a post-civilization fantasy setting.

And at the center of it all are fearless, sometimes reckless pilots.

For this game, Erica Chappell was inspired

by plane-based systems like Night Witches,

but she focused her attention mostly on the drama

in the air. Flying Circus has a robust and tactical flight-based combat system

that includes a play sheet that looks like a flight deck.

And she manages to do this without losing any of the drama-based mechanics that make powered by the

Apocalypse Games work.

Flying Circus has already funded on Kickstarter.

In fact, it's already hit several stretch goals, including the Blimplegers expansion which is being done in
